This weekend, I received my first subscription box of Vegan Cuts. I stumbled upon the company on accident while researching how to make a subscription box service.
Vegan Cuts offers a snack box, a beauty box, and a make-up box comprised of 100% vegan products. The snack box features cruelty-free goodies and munchies. The beauty box has skincare products and the make-up box focuses on cosmetics. I got the snack box.
This month’s snack box featured a jerky made of portabella mushrooms, cinnamon flavored popcorn, cookies, ginger chews, dried fruit and other sundries.
I tried this box with my sister, who is also plant-based (a vegetarian).
Firstly, I live in Florida, so when I received this package from my postal box, the contents were pretty hot. Surprisingly, everything held up well and nothing melted.
Our favorites were the:
- Cinnamon Toast Popcorn
- Wild Portabella Mushroom Jerky
- CrunchBites Sea Salt Almonds
Everything tasted delicious. I thought the variety of textures and flavors were a nice break from the usual vegan fare I’m used to. Vegan Cuts is seeking to challenge the common notion that vegan food is bland.
Overall, our first experience with Vegan Cuts was pretty positive. I think I’ll try the beauty box next.
Check out Vegan Cuts on their website to subscribe.
